We would rather do a few things exactly than many things approximately, and we claim only what we have tested.

A quorum is the smallest number that must take part before a decision is valid, in a meeting and in a distributed system.

Our name is a promise about how we build: a system should act only when it can be trusted to. Our mark makes the same point. It is the letter Q built as a machined part, a segmented rotor whose shaft crosses into the bowl.
